Giving Back. Paying it Forward. Assisting the Community.

I'm a huge believer in all of those items.   

They are part of my day-to-day life and, by extension, my business. Focus areas might change over the years, but finding ways to support fellow citizens, key organizations, issues, and even the planet as a whole, are important to me and are always a priority. 

Currently, my philanthropic efforts are focused on KIVA which helps men & women entrepreneurs worldwide, and being a monthly donor to the ACLU. I also serve the planet by teaching International Humanitarian Law (IHL) for the American Red Cross.

 
I love being a member of and supporting the Smithsonian Institution, the Nature Conservancy, the Boy Scouts of America, Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited, and the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture.

Additionally, I serve on a focus group of five different regional, city, or neighborhood boards of directors, commissions, and councils with a primary focus on conservation, city planning, and urban forestry.
